Welcome Home To Cameron UMC!

“Loving. Learning. Serving.”

Our hearts, our arms and our doors are open to welcome you home. We invite everyone to be part of our family; a place where all are free to love, learn, and serve both inside and outside our walls. We hope that you find Cameron to be a warm and inviting place, and that you will consider helping us live out our mission to be a loving, learning, and serving faith community.

LOVING...

No matter how long you've been attending Cameron UMC, we want you to feel like you've found home. We have several opportunities for you to get connected into the love of the Cameron faith family. Here are some ways you can meet people and learn about Cameron...

Talk to our greeters and ushers — As soon as you enter the doors of the church, you will be greeted with a smile and a handshake by our greeters and ushers. Feel free to ask them any questions you might have.

Come on over to our Welcome Center — Look to your left when you first walk in and you will see another set of friendly faces ready to greet you with a welcome gift.

Join us for Fellowship Time — Please join us for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and treats. Someone will be happy to walk you over to Skelton Hall right after worship. We'd love an opportunity to get to know you.

Come to Coffee with the Pastor — Meet with Pastor David and others for an informal gathering with light refreshments and plenty of answers to your questions.

Visit us at Lifespace — This is an open space in our Fellowship Hall where anyone is welcome at any time to pop in and enjoy conversation and coffee. Sometimes we will be engaged in holy conversation, discussing life's deep questions and “God questions.” Other times we will be discussing the basics of Methodism. Still other times, you might find us exploring the character of Jesus so that we learn to emulate His behavior. No matter what, this time is designed to be welcoming, open, and inclusive of all. 9:00 am on Sundays.

LEARNING...

We believe that learning is a vital part of growing in faith and in life. We offer a variety of opportunities to grow and learn. Our Christian education classes are designed for children, youth, and adults, beginning at age four. Classes begin at 9:15 AM on Sundays and at various times throughout the week.

Following the children's time during the 10:30 worship service, children ages 3 years through 2nd grade are invited to come down to Room 20 for Children's Church. Children return to their parents before the end of the service.

Childcare is provided during Sunday School and worship service for infants through pre-school. Childcare is also provided on an “as-needed” basis during other programs.

The mission of our preschool is to provide a safe, healthy, warm, and loving Christian environment for all children to gather, play, and learn.

For more information, go to our “Sunday School” and “Preschool News” links.

SERVING...

Our faith finds vitality and meaning as we reach out to others, sharing the love we have known through Christ. Cameron is very active in serving the community. Here are just some of the Cameron is reaching out to the community and the world:
