Cameron UMC Preschool program operates September-May from 9:15a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. The program is designed for 2-, 3- and 4-year-old children and includes a weekly chapel service, weekly music and movement class, with balanced social and developmentally appropriate curriculum. We offer 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-day programs. Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, warm, and loving Christian environment for all children to gather, play, and learn. We accept children of all racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds and hope by sharing customs, ideas and traditions, we help to promote understanding and acceptance of one another.

Cameron UMC Preschool was started in January 2000 as a mission of Cameron United Methodist Church. We are licensed by Virginia Department of Social Services which requires Cameron UMC Preschool to follow polices, procedures and guidelines for staffing, training and facility management. All lead teachers are required to have a Bachelors Degree in a Human Science Field or another field with an additional 20 hours of child development and classroom experience. Staff are required to have background and reference checks, first aid/cpr, health and safety training, and 16 hours of child development training (each year).
