Cameron Youth Knights Are Back this Fall!

youthknight.gif (10199 bytes) Please join us Sunday evenings, 5:30 - 7:00 (unless otherwise noted), for fun and fellowship. We’ll usually have dinner or a snack available (please bring $5 to each meeting to help with the cost of food).

You--and your friends!--are welcome to join us for any of our events and activities.

Some upcoming events:

• Nov. 2: Presentation by Jim Harrington from Friendship UMC about the 30-Hour Famine Project.

• Nov. 8 or 9: Leaf-raking mission project! We’ll be gathering a group together to do yard work for some of our older Cameron members. Bring a rake if you can, and dress appropriately for the weather. We’ll meet at the church and carpool to where we’re going (it will be close by). Stay tuned for more details, because this may happen on either the Saturday or Sunday of this weekend, depending on weather and people’s schedules.

• Nov. 16: Presentation by Ann Farris from the Wesley Housing Project. We’ll be learning about service opportunities for this important mission helping low-income families in our community.
